Claude Harris, II
Claude Harris, II was born on November 4, 1956, in North Miami Beach, Florida. He has two children; Claude Harris III, and Precyous C. Harris Washington.

Claude’s education includes:
_ North Miami Beach Senior High in 1974
_ Computer/Radar Technician in US Army
_ B.A. in Religion/minor in Biblical Languages - Southwestern Adventist College ‘84
_ Masters of Divinity from Andrews University in ‘87

Claude Harris was an employee of the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventist and has been employed by the Allegheny East Conference since 1987. Claude has pastored serval churches as senior pastor in the Allegheny East Conference . He served 16 years as the Youth Ministries Director for the Allegheny East Conference. He has served as B.A.Y.D.A. (Black Adventist Youth Directors Association) President of which he was elected twice to that position. He has served on conference, union, division, committees on each of these levels of the church. He also has been interim pastor at serval churches as well in Allegheny East Conference. He is currently associate pastor of the Beacon Light Seventh Day Adventist church in Annapolis, Maryland.

Claude’s calling to the Gospel Ministry came shortly after his baptism into the church in 1977. Though his grandfather and great grandfather were both ministers, he never had a desire to serve God in this capacity prior to 1977. Soon after his baptism, he began to preach in a small church in El Paso, Texas. On a tour with the military in Korea, God called him to ministry.

After this military tour in Korea, the Lord impressed upon his heart to work full time in the organized work following his call from God. About that time Claude was to begin warrant officer training with the military and also had an offer from IBM in Phoenix, Arizona to work with them. However, he covenanted with the Lord that if God would take him through school and have a place for him in His work, he would enter His service for the rest of his life.

Claude has been used in both the Texas and Allegheny East Conferences as a pastor to lift up the name of Jesus and baptize precious souls into the family of God. He has lectured, given seminars, Youth Weeks of Prayer at academies and colleges, youth federations, camp meetings, camporees, junior camps, and other youth events. His use of visual aids and life experiences in his presentations has proven to be a valuable and forceful tool to present the GOOD NEWS.

Motto: "I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me!" (Philippians 4:13)
